Now times that by 10. Then take away living costs (rent, food, taxes etc etc).

Considering in this basement you get everything you choose for free also, and when you come out you get 10,000,000$ to accomplish your dreams, as long as they are in that price range anyway, I don't think it is stupid at all.

However 10 years is a long time to spend in a basement, but some of the choices are rather luxurious funnily enough

I would only require 2 items, the gun and the gourmet food. I'd use the gun to get rid of the person who's trying to keep me locked in the basement. Then I could come and go as I please, and get 10 years worth of free gourmet food.

A garden with a green house (that I have fresh air and to hang around) 2pt.
