I enjoyed this track and there was nothing wrong with it. But for some reason it felt very "flat" as if there was little atmosphere to it. Which I cant figure out, because it has plenty of detail and everything, goo dlighting, goo dline, good everything. But it just felt like it was missing something. Still, it was a good fun ride with plenty to look at along the way, so its a very minor niggle! Thought for sure i had escaped at the end, only to be lasered.

It's set in space, Barry - of course there's very little atmosphere!
I need to give your tracks a go, Fernanjoe, I've heard lots of good things! Looking forward to giving them all a blast over the course of this week.

I think it was the black sky with no stars. Dunno. I spent another 30mins playing it again after anyway just because its fun!

I know what you mean about the atmosphere, i wanted the red planet/sun to be in the backround and so that meant the natural light angle was a bit low, that and the greyness of the land texture. I prob should have put some more custom terrain texures in to break it up a bit. I totally agree with your thread about the importance of lighting in tracks. I think i find lighting the trickyest part to nail.
