Cheers for the info guys. It is confirmed @10:45 in that video that there are no plans for more DLC, but it doesn't say there will never be any future DLC still think there will be).

I'm kind of expecting RL to release some disk or GotY edition of the game with all the DLC and the best of Track Central or something. I've never analysed the terms and conditions, but I would guess that somewhere in the EULA you are transferring ownership of your creations to Red Lynx or Ubisoft and it'd be just a matter of only including content that won't get them sued. Thinking about it now, they'd probably be opening a can of worms by doing that so maybe it won't happen...at least without sound legal advice/consultation. Would be a cool way to imortalise those track central creations though

There is that, there are also lots of devs doing different things, sebbbi being the main engine and graphics programmer, I think it's probable that he started working on something different a long time ago since that part is long done for this generation. For all I know, maybe sebbbi and part of the team are working on a next gen Trials while the others worked on DLC, I assume that if they were to do so they would choose the PC since next gen console SDKs weren't available, while letting Ubisoft deal with porting to consoles. All speculation like everyone but this is how it's done

EDIT: oh and IF it is true that they have no plans for future DLC, this must mean that they are working on something else...

But all this time (even though i watched the video) I thought it was a definite confirmation that there was no more DLC.

katamariUK's exact words were "No plans just yet" which is the same as "No announcement at this time" or whatever pro lingo you prefer.

It is in its essence, what an employee of RL should be expected to respond with when the company wants to surprise fans with an official trailer/press release.

Having now seen the video again, my hopes are back up.

I'm not going to say there is DLC coming for sure, but will strongly deny these false claims that it is confirmed there will be no more DLC.

If they bring one out for the next gen i hope it will be out for PC and Xbox same week or day because soon I am switching to PC gaming instead of the next gen Xbox due to collage where i need a big better Desktop to do course work and i thought it would be better to get a amazing PC then a Decent PC + Next gen console which would cost to much for me.
