I like that it's a Bungie game with the ability to pull up the iron sights.

And so far that's all I like about this game.

Damn, no one else is excited for this? I'm not much into first-person-shooters but this looks like it could be the next step for the genre. Open world exploration, random encounters with other players, armor/weapon/spaceship upgrades... Still alot isn't known about the game, but I think it has more potential than the new Halo trilogy.

All that is nothing new to the FPS genre, except maybe ship upgrades

I'm only NOT interested in this game because Bungie is involved. I'll save my judgement till the game comes out and I see some gameplay footage and reviews, but I have little faith, there is no way i'm buying it unless the company does a complete 180 with thier design philosophies.

I would never have thought Bungie had made such a game.

I have played all their releases AFTER that game and thought they were all terrible- Marathon, Oni, Halo etc. Id (Company) made better shooters.

I guess not... But I don't think there's been a massively multiplayer FPS for any consoles.

Except for the MMO part, which I'm a bit hesitant about, I'm looking forward to this. Might be what Halo should've been; a game that wants you to explore it and rewards you for exploring, rather than pretty areas with nothing to do but look at them and wonder why there's nothing there.
