    Online from another country?

I'm guessing this will require an official response, but perhaps someone knows...

I bought Splinter Cell: Conviction - another UPlay game. I recently found out the reason why I can't go online is that while my copy of the game is from the UK and my Steam account are British), I'm in South Korea, working as a teacher. Apparently they only let Europeans access from Europe, etc.

I'm wondering if Trials Evolution: Gold Edition will be the same as this. Can I buy a UK/NA version and play online from anywhere in the world?

Unfortunately I missed getting in the Closed Beta, so I can't test it out (if the online features were included).

    Bump.

Thanks - I'm guessing I might not be able to get a reply here, so I've e-mailed the customer support on the website. No reply yet, but it's only been a day and it's not a regular question, so I expect it'll take a while.

In short, shouldn't be a problem. Keep in mind though, this is from UPlay Support - the same support who at first e-mail, told me Splinter Cell: Conviction didn't have an online server any more when I told them I couldn't (and still can't) connect. As my friends are still playing online and I've read that it's a regional issue I'm taking what they say with a grain of salt.

They also added that there shouldn't be problems with versions bought from resellers either, such as GreenManGaming or Gamersgate.
