    Ni No Kuni

Anyone else playing this gem? I um'd and aah'd for a week or so as it looked really kiddy....but finally caved in after reading so much praise and I have to say its an amazing gaming experience. Sure some parts are a little sugar coated but this game has so much depth and ingenuity, I cant recommend it enough.

Yeah its a shame its a ps3 exclusive in some ways, because it cant reach a huge part of the gaming audience (obviously a good coup for sony however).

It's for Nintendo DS as well, though I'm not sure if the DS version is availble outside of Japan.

If I had a PS3 this would be a day one purchase for me.

My PS3 is in hospital thanks to the dreaded YLOD. Ready to pull the trigger on this one as soon as she's home. Getting the game purely for the artwork and story...if the gameplay is more than generic JRPG, then to me it's a bonus

Yeah em, I was hesitant at first too cause of the kiddie-ness. But I pulled the trigger and glad I did. This game is full of charm and the art style is amazing. So much polish in this game. This is my first ever JRPG, so it took me a while to grasp the mechanics, but it eases you into the combat pretty well. Still pretty early in the game. Just got the ability to capture familiars. Def worth a look if you own a ps3.

Ikes im not too far in front I spent a while finishing up some monster hunts and errands....I just got the boat. Its one of those rare games that draws in with its charm and soaks you up in the gameworld. I hear there is a lot of post game content too....which is a big plus for me. Ikes ill add u to ps friends list if thats ok...maybe a little friendly trophy battle on this one
