    Being Considerate of Others

Although many great and well-known editors have both the DLC packs for Trials Evolution, not so many people can say the same.

Many editors on Track Central take this for granted and use DLC pieces needlessly, decreasing the amount of ratings by a fair amount. I made this mistake with my track "TT-Plywood Punisher". There is not a single DLC object in the whole track, but I built the warehouse on the Origin of Pain island when it would have been no different had I built it on the default world.

So, how many of you take this into consideration when releasing maps? Do you just use the objects you want to use, or do you give thought into picking your scenery?

I'm considerate of others. I build using whatever the heck works best for the situation. so that people who bought the dlc get the most bang for their buck.

pretty much what barry said, just using the old objects in a track massively restricts its possibilities and in most cases would never be as good as it could be if you were to include the dlc objects. Bottom line is i will not be downgrading my tracks for the few that wont fork out a few quid for the dlc's, these are probably the people who are 5 staring all the dont move tracks and 1 staring all my tracks, if you want good tracks you gotta pay for them

The less ratings the better, as every single ninja track ever made has shown. So screw those chumps that don't have the DLC.

    Be considerate of the editors.
Who will use whatever suits their needs best (as barry said) to bring you the best maps they can.

    QFT

I'd rather have less high ratings than alot of average ratings. Which is why I put fail safes on my mini games. I don't want someone to play 2 seconds and be able to rate it. Play the game then give a rating.

As for the OP question.....I build what I'm going to build, if it has no DLC good, if it does, then ok. I use the best objects I can.

If the DLC objects make my track better then i'm going to use them, I didn't buy the DLC to not use it.

It's me MrPwnzer, Tacos, and I..

I take this into consideration, most of the time. Now I have no use for most DLC packs... besides the second one.
The second one has both object packs, so most people select that one. In truth, I barely use Origin Of Pain anymore. I run out of ideas most of the time when I use those pieces, anyways.

Hopefully after I finis hmy non-DLC track, rating will be a bit better. That is, when I get my friggin' internet working again.
