A few beautiful tracks as always, but why are there high ratings on...
every track is on auto 4 star rating

don't move
very long, but no detail or drive line tracks
many track spammers (check out SP98...it's 8 seconds also, and only 40 people can pass it...btw vote 5!)

Track central is the best part of Evo to me, but why do people continually sh*t all over it? Certainly you can't rate a track with no design 5 stars...ever. A great track consists of a drive line and design...yes, it must have both for 5 stars. It doesn't matter how great it looks or what a impeccable drive line you have...they need both for a top rating.
Seeing a track by Elmonator right next to "Don't Move"...is wrong on so many levels. I wonder if apes rate these?
Btw, I recently double released my "CAMP" track which netted 400 views only...bitter much? haha
Good example though...the track wasn't great by any means, but certainly better than 1% guy's track.
Let's vote down these ninja nazi 8 second tracks, don't move, and other crap...the wrench is a great start to seeing where the quality tracks are.

I agree with everything you said.
This has been posted a bunch of times so I'm not sure what else there is to say...
I don't think the people who make these kind of tracks are to blame, maybe a little bit, but it's the people who rate that sh*t.
If it wasn't for them, those tracks wouldn't even be up there.
I doubt the forum members could really make a difference, I honestly can't force myself to play those tracks.
I am 100% convinced that there are a lot of tracks that didn't get their chance to shine because of this, which is quite sad.
It would be nice if there was some kind of subscription box kind of thing, where new tracks by your favorite creators show up.
When I first got evolution I never cared about rating tracks, I use to just spam the A button after my run so I could quickly back out and go onto the next one, so they all got a 3 star rating as that's the pre set amount.
I don't know how the rating system works but if there's a load of people all doing the same and giving them 3* then maybe that's part of the reason why they get highly rated ?
Ps, Don't worry all you top track editors, If you see me somewhere in the top 15 of your track, You know it got an instant 5* from me, I'm not one for being all critical over tracks so if I see they have put effort into them they get 5* regardless of what minor things might irritate me in there track.

The way TC is currently, is why I don't build much these days, and its a shame. Means less high quality, and more garbage. I don't like having to struggle to make 48hr feeds when I see 48hr feed riddle with crap made in 30 mins. Its sickening
I personally play all these don't move, and 5 seconds tracks and 1* them all
Build for yourself and friends. Getting into the 48hr feed doesn't really mean anything since its mostly filled with junk. Why would you even care about random people playing your stuff when they're the ones making TC crap?Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88

on the CT it is often the opposite, there is much of it which prefers the rolls!!!

My girl is probably tired of me sayin, "Attila, this guy makes quality tracks...check this one out."
Some are a bit difficult for me, but all filled out quite well.
It's good to know others feel my life's pain, along with creating for the creation process...gratifying enough.
