Well, after seeing the two tracks that are already put up, I realize I have no chance in hell to win, lol. I just want to make sure that my track isn't the worst.

Question: If I've already entered Jarr3tt88's skill game competition, but the skill game I'm making just happens to be based on a computer game, can I enter the same game in both competitions?

Why dont you spend some time polishing it up instead of rushing release?

I don't have a problem with it, but will need to run it by the other judges first, because technically it' could be against the rules.

    Unfortunately...
    4) No remakes of any kind. If you have done a sonic the hedgehog (example) track or game in the past, DO NOT do that for your entry. We will double check this is a newly built and released track UNLIKE anything you've done prior.

So unfortunately, once you release that for the other comp, it becomes a creation you've already done. Perhaps a loophole in 88's rules would let u release for this comp first and still be allowed in his?

Or perhaps the entrants can say whether or not its fair?....

Well, technically it wouldn't be re-released. The deadline for both comps is the same so it would be the same release and entered into both.

It's no problem though I completely understand. I shall stick with Jarr3tt88's comp as that's the one I started out with. Good luck to all and thank you.

    I was wondering about that.
I've already signed up for this comp, but it would be great if I could also enter the other comp with the same minigame that I'm creating for this.
I asked Jarr3tt88 and he seems fine with it.

I don't remember being asked this haha BUT I have no issues with anyone double dipping a game entry here and mine.

    On topic!
I have FINALLY gotten some inspiration to make a game Its coming along slowly of course, but I think I will be done with it in time. Heres to hoping I can stay on track! Will be a mini game! Will be a game that is favorited by many people I am very excited and hope can pull it off, I just don't know if I will have the complexity, so I'm going to rely on alot of coding vs physical objects. (visibility/variation events)

I'm thinking... don't really know the right way to handle this...I'm sure there are some guys out there who have been working hard on several tracks for different comps. What do the entrants think of this? Is it fair or ok to allow a double entry? 88 doesn't mind, so are we giant jerks if we do? I would like to keep, it fair for everyone. I think the entrants should let us know how they feel about it.

Although it might mean less entrants, most of me thinks one entry into a comp per track is most fair. I keep thinking of anyone who has been bashing away at multiple projects to enter multiple comps. Allowing others to enter two comps with one track seems unfair to them. Lets hear what some people think....
