I'll join the list of people nominating Purple. Is RedLynx going to give out any more wrenches? It seems like ages since the last batch was issued. I figured it'd be a monthly thing but I guess I'm wrong.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez ^ Pump the brakes lol you guys just cracked me the f**k up to see this. I almost drooled Dr. Pepper out of my mouth and onto my lap. Thank you guys for the nominations. There's probably 500 people who should get a wrench. You guys up there^ and also a TON of other people. I think RL just dropped the f**king ball on wrenches. Like I use to tell everyone else, RL should base wrenches on certain criteria. You can tell how long someone spends editing a track, and if you can calculate days played then RL should be able to seperately tabulate time spent in the editor. If a person has 500 hours in the editor, has accumulated 500,000-1,000,000+ downloads in total for his tracks, has two or more RL picks, has two five star tracks with 50,000 DL's or more, or if a creator constantly puts out consistant four star tracks and has any of the other criteria met, then I think he too should get a wrench. I'm not saying the creator should have to meet all of the above, but if he summits to the top in one of the categorys then I think that man is entitled for his wrench.

This is all just a thought. An idea of how things should change where people don't feel like they've been left on the outside looking in. The numbers or criteria above are just an example of where maybe things should go when it comes to wrenches in the present and/or the future. To me it felt like RL slapped about 99% of serious track creators in the face with how they went about doing this process. The message I got from allot of solid creators that I've talked to was that RL basically doesnt value or appreciate the time and effort they've put in to their tracks as much as they do to creators who actually recieved a wrench for their time and effort spent. With that said, everyone who has wrench now DESERVED that wrench. The current wrench holders are all bosses when it comes to making a solid track.

I've never posted how I've felt here about wrenches because I didn't want a hundred dweeby nerds jumping on my nuts and arguing with me on the forums. In all honesty I'm not here to argue. I know how touch and go this subject is because it has left a ton of people pissed off so I'm sorry if my message rubs you the wrong way. TC quality declined in my mind because creators who made steady tracks vamped out in large part because of an "exclusive" club they were not given access to. Why keep making solid tracks only to watch others reep the recognition of RL for their tracks while you slip through the cracks un-noticed and unappreciated by them? I think the only reason TC still has good tracks is because of the competitions. When people know they have a shot at winning something like ms points and clothing they actually try hard to make a super track. But with the way RL has handled wrenches, people pump out sh*t because they know they aren't gonna get a wrench so they just don't give a f**k.

Again, I've always kept quiet because I don't wanna make enemies with anyone here. This is the most "sensative" topic on the forums and not everyone is gonna see eye-to-eye.

And I don't need a response from RL. They've obviously ignored everyone to this point on the subject so why chime in now? I'm fine with never recieving a wrench - I'm good with that, but for the love of GOD give out wrenches (excluding me if neccessary) to people that have been nominated in the past who you rightfully know deserve one. I'll take it on the chin and speak up if it means I get to see a bunch of these creators get what they deserve. You can take my potential wrench and give it to somebody else, I don't care. I'll keep creating w/o it. Just do what's right RL, not what you think is right. That's what got us in this mess in the first place.

tbh I dont think this is the taboo kind of topic everyone is making it out to be - everyone here pretty much does see eye to eye about this;
they need to give out more wrenches. literally everyone who has posted here is in agreement. and im sure they will, it would just be nice if they did it now rather than later.

I'll also give a +1 to Purple up there, cant remember if I listed him in my nominations or not but he puts out great pure trials lines and regularly too

MasterBlasterX should defiantly get a wrench because he never stops building and rarely rides SP tracks because he wants to build. He consistently makes fun tracks & skill games which everybody likes, and he made about 100 tracks where rarely anyone gets so high!

When people know they have a shot at winning something like ms points and clothing they actually try hard to make a super track. But with the way RL has handled wrenches, people pump out sh*t because they know they aren't gonna get a wrench so they just don't give a f**k.

for my part, i build cause i like that.
probably never gona have a RL pick or get a wrench...
i don't F^%* care, i just love to create.
before uploading a track, i watch if theres is a building competition going on,
if not i release it anyway, if yes i enter... the more entry there is, the more fun it is...
even without price winning, i'l do the same thing...

Would this not be a good time right now??? i think so.also, by the amount of posts and comments, others obviously do to..Give them sooner than later if your going too, because, trials evo on the xbox at the moment is such a herd to get motivated feeling..i think the wrenches will give the lads a boost.If it wasnt for these custom comps, and the comp that you guys ran recently, then i would hate to think whether there would be the same amount of builders that build as much, and as great as what they are right now....

It wouldn't kill RL to have someone once per week (or even less frequently) to scan a few updated pages of this thread AND make 1 or 2 short responses to keep us informed of how things are going and what their intentions are. At the moment the community doesn't really have a clue as to if wrench nominations are even being looked into or if any more wrenches will be handed out. This small amount of attention would go a long to generating some good will around here.
