"Apologies to all concerned, but I am cancelling the competition.

Not that it is important but I am also taking my leave from the forums...for how long I don't know, maybe until we get a subscription feed (!) or maybe forever.
I imagine you will still find the odd video uploaded to TEvoCustoms when a track blows me away, but I need to move on.

Trials Evolution is still perhaps the best game I have ever played, warts and all. Thanks RedLynx, for the game and for my TF.

*proposal only* : with enough interest the competition will be confirmed shortly.
++There are some fabulous Trials Evolution competitions out there right now (RLGW, CTC, GIT, NTBC, Mini).
It is hoped that the advance notice of this one (ATBC) means that it will give people plenty of time to build an entry for April 30.
It shouldn't, however, impinge on any of these other competitions++
++Rules/Prizes may be updated any time before the RELEASE WINDOW opens++

RULES: (to be confirmed)
1. To enter, you must sign up in this thread before the start of the RELEASE WINDOW.
2. Trials Evolution Custom Trials Tracks only (No Skillgames, No Supercross);
3. Track difficulty : Beginner to Extreme*;
4. Track length : Minimum 20s Platinum;
5. Track must be a NEW BUILD** and SUBMITTED*** during the RELEASE WINDOW;
6. Only 1 entry per person;
7. No teams allowed;
8. Once a track is SUBMITTED*** it cannot be changed or replaced.
(9. Do include "ATBC" in your track description if you wish to).

* It is strongly advised that your tracks are not considerably more difficult than the hardest in-game tracks.
** A NEW BUILD must be a new creation, and not a re-upload or tweaked old Trials Evolution release.
Tracks must NOT have been entered into any other competition on the forum.
*** A track is only SUBMITTED if condition 1 and at least one of conditions 2a/2b are satisfied:
1-It has a Track Central 'creation date' within the competition window; AND
2a-The creator notifies me (in this thread or on XBL) of the precise name of their entry and their XBL Gamertag; AND/OR
2b-"ATBC" is in the track description.

RELEASE WINDOW: (to be confirmed)
Start : Monday APRIL 01, 2013 [00:01 EST, 04:01 GMT]
End : Tuesday APRIL 30, 2013 [19:59 EST, 23:59 GMT]

PRIZES: (to be confirmed/updated)
1st = 6,400 msp
2nd = 4,000 msp
3rd = 2,400 msp
4th = 1,200 msp
5th = 1,200 msp
[or possibly just 1st-3rd, same prize fund total]

JUDGES: (to be confirmed)

JUDGING:
Tracks will be scored in categories which cover aspects of driving line, decor, and deficiencies.
Final scores and precise categories will not be published, only a final order.
