I have heard many times people made mistakes building custom tracks. That just natural, but we want to have the option to delete it, not just re-upload again for wasting TC filesize. I have made many mistakes too on my tracks.
So RedLynx, do you agree for this idea? I aso want to see what other people opinions are.
I've brought this up many times in the past and I think most track builders would agree that this would be a great option. Unfortunately I don't think RedLynx wants to invest any time into giving us this ability which is a damn shame.
I have a few duplicate tracks that I'm not proud of that I'd delete in an instant if I could. I also have a typo in one of my track's descriptions that drives me absolutely insane lol.
RL have stated many times that it would be unfair to the riders who may have put hours and hours in to perfecting some track, and then some one could just delete their hard work because of any reason.
Although it would be nice if we could release a track with like a beta tag on it, that we could delete in like 24 (for example) hours from first releasing it, if there is something wrong with it.
There could be an own feed for those beta tracks too.
Sure would be nice.
When I first got the game it was new and it had a bug where it only freeze at the finish line after uploading, you can never finish it so I tried fixing it and re-uploading it. It works the 1st time then the same error. so after a while I downloaded the new update and it was fixed, I ended up with like 5 tracks that are the same and I cant delete any of them!
I vote Yes!
I dont think he ment it that way. Only you can delete you're own track.Originally Posted by Dosto
I'm sorry I didn't mean it that way either. In this case what I meant is that the creator of the track could delete the riders hard work of beasting the track you know.Originally Posted by LordOfWarrr
It's not only the creator of the track always that puts a lot of work in to a track.
People put a lot of time perfecting their runs on the tracks too.
So basically the creator of the track could destroy a run of perfection that have taken hours and hours to make (all because of a wrong coloured light or something, for example) by deleting the track. How is that fair..
That is why I'm saying some kinda beta tag would be good, so that the people who play the track know that their time perfecting the line might go to waste.
Oh I understand now, its ture.Originally Posted by Dosto
Yea I agree with you're beta tag idea!
cheers.
Beta tracks would defiantly be the way to go, I would be gutted if I pulled off an amazing run and the creator just deleted it !Originally Posted by Dosto
+1 for beta tracks
the beta tag is a good idea.
