Wormholes could make traveling through space more realistic. The speed of light being the "speed limit" of travel is really just a theory. Two sub-atomic particles can react instantaneous with each other no matter the distance. The sub-atomic world does not abide by our rules and laws and that is as fascinating as space itself.

How about Warp, although it is Star Trek scientists have theorized how it works and maybe how it could be done, however it's said any type of this technology is 100s-1000s of years away.

What you mean by particles reacting at any distance-Ex: a peice of polymer reacts with something 100km away?

It's called the EPR Paradox. I won't try to explain it because I am not a physicist, I just like to read. Also neutrino's have been thought to be able to travel faster than the speed of light. Both are highly scrutinized, as most things in science are.

Sure, warp is possible and with the way we are going it would take that long. But that's mostly because we have our collective heads up our collective arses on what is important. We can't even figure out how to get along on one planet. Why do we deserve to destroy others?

    It's called quantum entanglement.

Basically, you have two sub-atomic particles that are somehow "entangled." This means that they will always be in opposite states, such as one will have a positive charge, and the other will have a negative charge. If one of them changes states, the other will IMMEDIATELY change its state as well no matter the distance between the particles, since they must always be in opposite states.

This means either that there is some kind of signal going between the particles that is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster than the speed of light, or it's magic.

    Won't stop us though

We all have our heads up our asses, yes. For example what are we doing on a forum for a ******g motorcycle game? Get out there and help those in need!

Yeah, wont happen. It's in our nature to be ******bags, it's why as soon as we can we will get out into space and **** everything up there too

I offer an Awesome Dude Award to whoever has never done something that can be considered "bad" in their life.
    ....Anybody? Nobody?
That's right, so don't dwell on it too much, Jesus, it was your father who gave us these traits in the first place, or so I hear

Yeah, um, Space is cool Anybody have any good actual footage of space (anything), it's always computer animated....

I like this image from the ISS:

    Space makes her sexy.
