Newly released.
Night time/rain/thunder/lightning setting.
Smooth rounded drive-line.
Decent flow.
Background is alright.
Negative feedback is wanted so I know what I F'ed up on in the track.
I tried to work on my lighting like BarryB suggested, so I'm curious as too how the lighting looks in your eyes.
Let me know
Thank you.
Firstly my Moderator comment....Please keep all your tracks together in one thread, it helps to keep the forums tidy and makes it easier for you and us to keep track of all your creations. Thaks you.
Now, onto the track! lol Lots of good stuff, but you said you wanted the bad. So here goes.
I still think the light needs work, there are no shadows due to the moon/sun intensity/colour and the sky/ground ambient colours that you have used. By adjusting those to allow shadows, you would add more depth and atmosphere to the track and create a better overall feel.
I really dont see the need for the cans or fence on the DL at the start. They're just an irritation to be honest.
You have a paved road that changes to a dirt road for no apparent reason! lol
Lastly, the difficulty seems to go from hard to fast, flowy medium track. Its not consistent. Either difficulty would be fine, but just the one! lol
But the line is fun, the deco is pretty good too, there's some nice little touches and the lightning works well. So like I say, there's plenty of good stuff, but you didnt ask for that! lol
Its really just a lot of small changes that you can make in the next track you do and it would add loads to the track imo. But this is all just IN MY OPINION.![]()
LOL. Thank you.
The Roads-Sometimes out in the country, paved roads turn to dirt roads and that was kind of what I was going for there, I guess I botched that when trying to translate it into a video game.
The Fence and Cans at the Start- Somebody told me to move the fence and I was going too but I just wanted a different feel/start to a track, like you've just pushed through the gate and onto the grounds of the warehouse; it's noted though that I'll never put the combination of fence and cans together at the start of a track again. You're right, that sh*t is irritating. But, I did take the mass down on the fence and the can so riders could feel like a F'ing beast blasting them out of the way lol...
The Shadows-Uh? I didn't even notice lol, F'ed that up didn't I?
Hard to Medium flow-You're right. It does flow from hard to more and more easy, I'll keep that in mind when I make my next track to NOT flow down but to flow steady throughout.
You arent the first and you wont be the last! lolOriginally Posted by PuRpLEoOzi
I had fun with your last two tracks though, so I'm looking forward to seeing the stuff you bring out in future. I always try to remember that we all started somewhere and do my best to try and offer feedback when I can. I know it was the one thing I craved and still crave. Its the only way we can learn from our mistakes, if someone actually points out the mistakes in the first place! lol
There at the beginning you had some pretty nice hard obstacles going, then you're all like Suprise MuthaFucka! This tracks a medium!
Nice track PuRpLE, she's on my playlist for youtube
for the TS/EvoCustoms weekly No1 part 2
LMFAO That's fuc*ing funny ^ God I love you guys. Thanks for all the constructive feedback thats destructive to my confidence in track makingThere at the beginning you had some pretty nice hard obstacles going, then you're all like Suprise !"#¤! This tracks a medium!lol Argh! <-(J/K) I'd rather hear it truthful than be lied to. But all that set aside, that CTC comp. was cut-throat with how good all the tracks were. Once I saw some of the other tracks in the CTC I was like "hmmm, maybe I should've spent a little more time tweaking and editing my track". My next thought was "F*CK!" Then I think I made something to eat; ate and fell asleep :\
