What the topic title says. Are there any plans for a demo before release?

To be honest, i mostly want it to make the days go by easier. Plus, it will be great help, when trying to convince your ignorant Steam friends about the awesomeness that is Trials.

If we get to check both single and multi tracks, a couple of each for example, that would be ideal.

I definitely think there should be a demo. It could be like those free trials games Redlynx used to make. Short but a great demonstration of what Trials is.

If they're smart there will be a demo.
It's a good way to convince people who have never heard of Trials to buy the game.

I was waiting for the month before the release to ask that , but it's close , hope for 1 multiplayer track also hope it's soon on steam at least like T2SE demo

Not common at all. Completely random i would say. Some release a demo weeks before release, some close or right after, or a lot after, some not at all.
