Will the Redraw & Glitching ever be fixed in MP? | Forums

Sorry to be so blunt n i`l try to keep a short as poss.

When the ROD DLC along with the 3rd patch came along everything at the beginning was great, a little redraw but no glitching .. Playing MP was fun then as mistakes that were made were accountable to oneself.

Over time it has been getting worse and worse, it feels like someone is pouring sand into the cogs .... there still going round but only just.

Redraw is now very apparent on all tracks whenever playing MP, also the glitching has got worse ... everytime i hit red after a fault, the rider looks as he is being hit by lightening, has a jiggly moment and then is free to carry on (takes about half a sec b4 "I" have control) ... naturally its very hard to play the game & when playing tougher opposition .... i may as well not bother

Im aware of what has been advised to me about the complexity of certain aspects within the game and how they can cause problems, but those problems are constant and will remain constant, this problem with MP is like a rollercoaster, everytime a patch is released its ok for a while, but then everything just slows down. Ive tried all the usual suggestions on fixes - always the same.

There are other problems with the game that i can "now" handle as its just about waiting & waiting and eventually whatever ure trying to do happens, but the glithing in MP is truely unbearable and really puts a added strain on the brain ... Imagine driving to work, concentrating on the road, the other traffic, pedestrians, making sure that your going the correct speed ... but every now n then i jab u in the ribs with a stun gun .... quite annoying eh ..... thats what MP has turned into now

I hate to say it but difficult questions have to be asked sometimes .. there has been 3 patches released allready with an alleged cost to yourself of 120k (3x40k) .. why is this problem still around?? Are you ever going to attempt to fix this problems? are they fixable? ... do you know that they even exist?

In a couple of months the game would have been out for a year, please god lets hope with out these problems

i want to write a lot more but i cant really be arsed as there no point .... Well done RL / Ubi .... u win!

I recommend tho that u change the typo of "support" to "report" just to make sure no other hopeful soul makes the same mistake in the future

haha :L true, I was playing today and the whole of a track just kept lagging and stuff, every time I respawned it would freeze for around a second until I could continue moving and it got really annoying, even thought it was happening to a person in the same game at the same time, it still shouldn't happen.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of multiplayer due to the fact that there are constant issues while trying to compete with other players online -lag, redraw and the scarcity of textures while playing-

If these issues were to be addressed I would more than likely play multiplayer more often and genuinely enjoy it rather than verbally cursing the game..which in the long run would probably benefit me more..
