Yeah, it kinda sucks. But on the other hand, Ubi probably won't bother with Steam achievements, cloud or other steamworks features, so it won't matter much. You can add it as a non-Steam game in your library and use it that way.

Yeah, that's true. I just like having everything on Steam and having it record my playtime and all that.

I think these are it.. not positive tho. I just added steelbook to my google search and see quite a few labeled DVD rom. Hope this helps..

Nowhere to get it in the US? Id prefer to avoid overseas shippin & handlin. Also, the third link you post says it will release in Europe and UK but doesnt say anything about US.

Cant wait. Placed my pre-order through Uplay today. Hope i dont regret picking that over Steam.
