[Solved] No DLC at all while Offline! | Forums

I see someone has had this problem in November but apart from 1 mod response, it has gone no where as far as I can tell.

I just remembered that I cleared my cache while trying to get the wireless to work so maybe the game is missing the update that tells it that there are more files available. I will update this post tomorrow after I buy a new adapter. If that solves the problem, you can leave this thread for others who experience it.

I updated the game then unplugged the wireless before loading it, and it detected everything fine; could even play downloaded tracks.

My Xbox network adapter (and LAN too) is not working so I want to work on my track but the "Checking for DLC" message did not show up and the game is behaving like there is no DLC present. If I try to load a DLC track I get an error that the file may be corrupt.

This is the original Xbox that the game and DLC was bought and downloaded to.

You hit the nail on the head. You cleared the cache which holds onto the updates which tell the game that there is additional content it needs to search for. Without the updates you have the trials evo that came out day 1 so it wont search for DLC

never mind the dlc if i try to load evo while offline i cant even load the first game, evo loads but when i enter the sp mode all tracks have a lock over them saying please purchase full game as if i only have the demo or something which i never even had, also i can load up the editor but any tracks that i have made are nowhere to be found in my memory even tho they are saved to my hard drive.

iv been wanting to take my xbox to my brothers and show my nephew what trials is like but as they do not have internet it seems like he will never know

its very strange Trials HD did not have this problem and i played it for months when i had no internet but for some reason evo needs internet just to allow you to play offline because if i load it up while online and then unplug my xbox adapter it still allows me to play evo offline

would love to hear a devs opinion on this and if anything can be done, would hate to loose not only my internet but as an addition also my favorite and only game i play

have you transferd your license Note if you bought Trials on a another console thats why?

i cant believe it, i already kind of knew that about transferring the license but i thought i brought evo on this xbox, thinking about it now i actually brought it on another, when i brought it my xbox red ringed 3 days later and i brought a new 1, i just plane forgot about that i'll try doing the transfer later and see if it works, not quite sure how to do the transfer but i'll find out, thanks

thanks a lot mate, done the transfer and works fine, now i shall be taking my xbox round my nephews and introduce him to the world of trials
