Final fantasy 7 doesn't need a remake, it's graphics are stunning, even to this day. Only acceptable if it was the character models & battle graphics, otherwise it'd lose it's charm (even though models & battle GFX are part of the charm).
Leave the old FF games alone, they are perfect as they are.

And hasn't Chrono Trigger already had a remake or two? I played that game recently (SNES), after constantly hearing "Best Game EVAR". No it is not. It has a brilliant story, characters, world, setting. Graphics good. Soundtrack brilliant. But it failed in the vital area- gameplay.

A tomb raider 2 remake sounds cool, complete with manual aiming guns (preferably an option to toggle manual/auto for those who want it). But remakes are rarely done properly. Tomb Raider 2 would definately be considered too hard for the modern audience
It would get turned into a third person cover shooter, simplistic gameplay like gears of war

Yeah but some X 360 games are fairly bad but have great potential, take Front Mission Evolved, i find it good thanks to the gameplay (shooting the amazing guns) and customization, but lacks in everything else, even the population of the game is so very small. (worse than CoD 4's population nower days)
