Split voice output on Turtle Beach X12 headset
Alright, just wondering if anyone knows what hardware (splitters, cables, and whatnot) I would need to use to split the voice output (input?) from a Turtle Beach headset mic to allow for one mic to be used for gameplay + commentary recording.
I am trying to record team/party based games and want all of the vocal chatter (including my own) to be recorded in the mix without resorting to two microphones being used.
I am using the ElGato game capture HD, and it has software that allows for live commentary, so I assume that if I get the correct splitters and cables I will be able to split the mic signal into both the Xbox controller and into the mic input jack on the PC.
Has anyone else done this, and do you know what I would need?
