This type of thread usually works pretty well in forums. Also helps cut down on threads where people ask an off topic question. Anyways, I'll start.
Played the rocket bike skill game, figured out something vital to the level (since replays ALWAYS crash, you can't watch them for help). Ended up getting 22nd after a few "meh" runs. Might go for 1st on it.
I'm still yet to play it, along with probably about 80% of the skill games on the new DLC. Dunno why though..
Does anyone else find it weird how skill games don't ever seem to have corrupt replays? For example, you can watch TBNSoty's run on NeverEnding Trials, and that goes on for over 15 minutes. I've also started watching a replay on a skill game that was over 29 minutes long. But with normal Trials tracks they become unwatchable way before that point?
Total stab in the dark here, but maybe it's to do with the fact that you can't fault in skill games?Originally Posted by DannersMac

Being able to fault has nothing to do with broken replaysOriginally Posted by James24993
Broken replays usually happen because of a change in physics or because of explosions.
Random thought: I recently played Trials at a friends Xbox who has a different screen size and the screen is too far away (imao). And even after two hours I didnt seem to really get used to it. Or to put it else: I felt ******ed. It was like not being able to play the game properly - a horrible feeling....
This happened to me several times at various friends homes. Its kind of weird how much difference this makes.
Did you guys experience that awkward feeling of being slightly ******ed aswell?![]()
Are you sure it was the screen size? Maybe there was lag in the display. If the TV wasn't set to game mode or low latency mode then it's probably doing post processing that will throw off your timing.
This may very well be, sir! I will try this tonight when Im there!Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai
In general though it is quite hard to adjust to a new screen size nevertheless. Ive experienced that when I changed my screen but after an hour or two it was all okay again! But in the case I mentioned it actually feels like the bike reacts with a little lag.
Thank you very much!
I had the same problem. It's totally different to play Trials at work with low latency computer monitor than at home with a cheap tv. After I started playing RoD tracks at home I felt like a total noob with the tracks and I thought what the hell is going on. Almost every time after I jumped off a ramp I started turning forward and it was too late to correct the posture because of the lag. But I found some adjustments from the tv to decrease the delay a bit and now it's more playable. My controller was also busted but I replaced that too and got all the platinum medals (except for extreme tracks, it's not a magic controller).

2. Oh come on. You will manage the Extreme Platnums someday even without a magic controllerIts not as hard as it seems. Especially when you practise enough at work
