I don't think that's whats being discussed though. Just because a track is tagged as "Ninja" doesn't make it actually a Ninja track. Ninja levels are only applicable to actual Ninja tracks.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai

Well, who actually decides what a Ninja track is? The 20 people who make them "correctly" and list them on the forum, or the thousands who make them "incorrectly" and don't ever visit the forum?
The first one. Facts aren't decided by democracy.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai
Seems like you're just being argumetative for the sake of it Shifty. You were around in the HD Ninja era, you even made a track or 2. Just because RL provided a Ninja tag for people to slap on **** tracks doesn't make those tracks Ninja...the reason the whole gimmick/pirate thing started.
I understand you're proud of being able to complete hard tracks, but I didnt say that ninja tracks are luck.Originally Posted by ClutchMystaFlex

if you 0 fault a level two ninja first time, then play it again and get 15 faults... is that because you got kinda lucky the first time or because the track was easier first time?
and the number of people that have passed a track doesn't tell you that much. im confident, if I tried to, I could pass almost any track thats been uploaded to TC. but Im not interested in ninjas and a lot of other skilled riders dont play them either - hence the same people on the leaderboards of all the hardest tracks.
We can sort this whole mess out by categorising ninja-difficulty tracks as:
1. Really hard
2. Really, really hard
Or get really specific, e.g. 'Yeah man that track was totally free-jazz hardcore grind-pop'

I'm really not, and I apologize if that's the way it's being seen, and yes, I do like super difficult tracks.Originally Posted by JoeRegular

When people see Ninja, and it means "no front tire touches red" or "no rear tire touches green", then it keeps propagating until the vast majority of users think the same thing and you have 500 no-tire-touch tracks for every 1 more-difficult-than-extreme track.Originally Posted by JoeRegular

I'm not being argumentative, I'm just saying that Ninja in regards to the vast majority of Trials HD players meant something totally different than what Ninja means to the vast majority of Trials Evolution players.
Are you trying to say that Back tire/Front tire only tracks are easy and dont take skill? If they are done wrong then i agree that they can be gimmicky but then there is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1q0VmPVbQ8Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai
If you tell me that takes no skill you're completely wrong. @ Willyumz. i agree with your outlook the most on this.
I'd like to note that if your opinion is different then mine and i argue against it don't take it personally. I'm enjoying this frinedly debate![]()
Golf games are not easy either. Does that make them Ninja? No, it makes them gimmicky, just like the "don't touch this color with this tire or else" tracks. It's no longer a track, it's a skill game.Originally Posted by ClutchMystaFlex
