Everyone knows the fapping technique and that it is extemely useful. But is it someting trials bikes can do in real life? Just wondering. Also creds to mikeb for coming up with the word " fapping technique"( If you don't know what i'm talking about then it is when you hold rt and tap "x" really fast...)
Lol, no it's not something you can do in real life. When your wheel is spinning and you brake really quickly, some of that rotational energy will transfer into the rest of the bike and cause you to rotate forward slightly, but you can't do it repeatedly after your wheel has stopped like you can in Trials![]()
Actually MotoCross riders use this technique in the air to change their bike position and angle very noticeably.Originally Posted by nannerdw

Your brakes have to put an impulse (a force applied over a period of time) on the wheel to bring it to a stop. Likewise, the wheel is applying the same amount of force onto the brakes, which are connected to the rest of your bike, causing it to spin.
So that's how Harry managed to stay on the broom stick for so long...Originally Posted by LitTlExJeZuZ
