Anyone else still play this game? I got it a bit late and am only level 34, but ive still benn grinding through. Ive played both dlcs and loved em, gearbox is by far the funniest/cleverest gaming company on the market right now.
I wanted to open this thread because I dont ever get to discuss this game with anyone, or play with anyone for that matter.

I need to finnish this game badly, im like 1hr off the end and i just came off of the game; im the Gunzerker and i love shotguns.
Played the first one. It was okay, but I thought it was very overrated. The running and gunning was only fun for so long, even if you had 3 friends with you.
Still, I'm getting Borderlands 2 for Christmas because every other new game looks like ****. Hopefully its better than the first one.

I have the game, but haven't played that much due to too many distractions this time of year. This is one of those games I could play for years to come anyway so that's not an issue. Have 4 characters started (all except Mecromancer, who I haven't tried yet), but am yet to complete my first play-through...have been working on that in co-op with a buddy recently, because I'm burnt out on competitive shooters ATM.
I have a lvl 50 gunzerker, lvl 18 phase-shifter (or whatever you call them) and a lvl 10 mechromancer. Great game, fun characters, but I've played the same missions too many times, and now that my main guy is lvl 50 I dropped it. I think the game is too easy. You can run into a field of a bajillion enemies and expect to own them all unless you make some stupid mistake. Self-esteem game, but still I had fun with it, and I'll probably come back to it eventually.

I know its almost going to be too late for most, but that Tiny Tina/flesh-stick boosting glitch is going to be patched out in several hours so if you have any characters you need to boost...now is the time to do it.

Loved the first one...this one isnt different enough to hold my interest after putting god knows how many hours into the first one. Still a great game but IMO its Borderlands 1.5.
I think the first one was so good because it was quite fresh...it reminded me in some ways of one of my favourite online games (phantasy star online on dreamcast). 2 seems too chaotic lol..just so much going on all the time...3 people talking to you at once...unorganised loot drops everywhere...and for the bajillions of guns it all ends up like a never ending shopping list until you hit level 50. I bought the season pass so will still be playing it from time to time...hopefully next time they will make Borderworlds and make it next gen and truly step forwars instead of sidewaya.
