What if the game decides who is first by random selection (basically 50/50)?

Example: I got 19:234 seconds and another person got the same time, then the system flips a coin to see who will be first.

That was theory #3 in my list, but no dev ever got back to us to confirm or deny that particular one.

Then I have no clue. Maybe alphabetically? Or who has the highest level, score, playtime, gold, or overall? It has to be one of those. I'll be surprised if it's something different.

Edit: I might have figured it out. It probably decides how many times you replayed that day. Example: you got 18:234 seconds and you replayed 36 times to get the score, then somebody else got the same score as you, but they replayed that day less than you. Whoever gets a better score in few tries will be first.

As for the number of retries - I suppose it's possible, but based on the way the RedLynx devs that did chime in responded, it seems unlikely, since that would have required some explicit coding and they didn't seem to know the answer without digging into it further.
