I tried using "ifunbox" but its too buggy to use, does anybody know of another program that i can use just to copy music to my phone that works properly?
theres several.
a good one here: http://doubletwist.com

Thanks eflixxx .... still having a tinker with the suggestion![]()
I use foobar2000 with foo_dop for my iPod. Works like a charm, look into it!
iTunes 11 removed the ability to search for songs on a plugged in device (it only searches through the library on your computer), so I downgraded back to 10.7.
I'll probably consider just switching to foobar2000.
Not as performance heavy as iTunes, but more than anything it's very incredibly customizable. You can get it to do pretty much anything you might want it to do.Originally Posted by nannerdw
Doesn't any media player than can push files to an MTP device work with iDevices?
I use Clementine as my media player/SGS3 media sync, it's pretty good even though Android has no concept of structuring files received via MTP, just dumping all of my FLACs into my SD card root folder, and apparently it works with iPod Classic/Touch and iPhone 3GS, dunno about iPhone 4/4S/5, but you could give it a try. It's a nice alternative to Winamp for music as well. Also it's open-source.

I know it may not be useful, but I was once a member of this cool Russian service (yeah yeah I know) that let you purchase music. The really nice thing about that one was you could customize the file format, whether you wanted it loss-less, what bit rate etc etc and it would produce the files on demand. There was a slightly high fee for larger file formats, but no problem for audiophiles. Not sure if it even exists any more or what it was called...used to use it years ago...if I think of it or find anything similar, I'll let you know.
EDIT: My bad, I'm off with the pixies today. Just realized you were all talking about players, not music purchasing/subscription services.
