Is XBLA Past Its Prime?

whereas it may be a old article, it comes very close imo on to what is actually happening on XBL atm .... how many new games have we seen come out, when i say new i mean a totally new game, not a sequel.
I got tired a long time ago of forking out my cash to get a new game that in reality is just a re-hashed game of the last game that dev released, so i no longer buy any brand new games ( Evo being the only exception )
Personally ... give it 5yrs and i think XBL will have been taken over / dropped .... might be even sooner

aaaaannnyway, since the new Xbox is coming out next year it is likely there will be change or at least for marketing, gameplay and game capabilities, being that it is certain that this new Xbox is as powerfull as a computer, then new XBLA games could be better and more powerful.

I get wt ure saying LitTlExJeZuZ and i agree that the games may be better, but im thinking along the roots of how much crap Devs have to put up with when dealing with MS ....
Fez, Minecraft and lets not forget Evo ... have all had to stick updates/patches thru the games and with it reportally costing approx 40k everytime ..... its makes u wonder will devs really want to use XBLA at all??
I suppose were all caught in a bit of a circle really, there are peeps out there that will buy a console purely to play 1 game/series, e.g grand turismo, its only avalible on the PS1/2/3, im not to sure recently but i do know people that bought a PS purley to play the sequel grand turismo II ..... I know for sure that when RL release Evo+HD on the Pc ..... The XBL version wont get touched again .....
The link i provided seems to suggest simular + other problems XBLA at the moment, im just wondering how long it`ll last?
