I've tried recently a mario bros track and in this track it had the real song from mario bros... how did he do that?

they made the sound from the Sound Source tiles found under the 1st menu, along with the custom camera, etc

its not too complex, mainly triggering sounds and setting timings up for not changes.

you should check out "mutetus" tracks, he's done some old school demos as well as pacman!! he creates all the tunes in game, just mind boggling.
