    Forza Horizon

    Should I get this?

I downloaded the demo, I like it..

    Just a few questions..

    Do the cars become upgradeable?

What else is awesome about this game?

Turning, I'm guessing the braking/acceleration can be tuned etc?

If not lmk! I kinda wanna get this game but I want to know about it first.

Cars are upgradable, but not tuneable, you can buy all sorts of body, engine, driveline parts and equip the parts to want to improve specific aspects just like all other forza games, but you can't fine tune things like downforce and suspension stiffness etc.

If you liked the demo, you'll like the game i reckon, I like racing games ranging from Forza and Gran Turismo, to Need for Speed and Modnation Racers, and i think this is a good racer, its not as hardcore realistic as other Forza games, but I think it works better this way in the open world environment.

It's very short. I got all the achievements in 22 hours and that is counting a few hours of miscellaneous online play.

Cars are upgradable, you cannot tune/adjust anything like in previous Forzas. You can't make cars handle differently unless you can figure out the best configuration of parts and whatnot.

All in all it's a great game and I highly recommend it.

    Re: Forza Horizon

It is a very nice game and visually probably the prettiest racer on Xbox. However, like AJ said, its short. I feel the map is too small and it needed more free roaming and stuff to discover.

Theres rally DLC coming this month for 1600M$, but Im not sure how much it will expand the game...there will be cars or kits, but no word on tracks/events as yet.

I wont be buying any season passes or car packs this time as its the same $&@$ we paid for in the last few versions of Forza and I'm not going to be milked, because M$ intentionally wont allow us to import previously purchased cars.

Appreciate the opinions you guys, I want a long racer, not just achievements, but the "campaign" part you know? Any recommendations?

Forza 3 or 4 take hundreds of hours.

    Re: Forza Horizon

Thats a hard question, I played the crap out of 3 and haven't given 4 the time it deserved. 4 was slightly enhanced, but had a slightly different career format. Barry and Bigbow were/are big time Forza guys so maybe they could chime in?

Otherwise, Im sure AJs opinion is equally valid given that he's probably played every game on 360

    Re: Forza Horizon

I'd go Forza 4, it's obviously very similar but more polished than 3.
Have to say, though I loved F4, I've had a lot more fun playing Horizon. It is short but after getting 100% a few days ago I still feel like playing even though there isn't much to do. If you liked the demo, or even just racing games general... I definitely recommend getting horizon at some point, it's a brilliant game.
