Na man it's these updates they keep Fkin doing it making games much more laggy. Even reading discs. It's ridiculous.

Are they custom tracks?

No m8 it's not custom track's , just track's that are in the game itself also when I have been racing multi-player at the start a few times the track has been completly missing
