Squeaky The Squirrel Avatar Award WONT UNLOCK | Forums

I completed enough events in single player to unlock the trials trophy but when it happened a black pop up came onto the screen saying the avatar award couldn't be unlocked due to an error.
I then checked the 'Awards' section on the Xbox and Squeaky The Squirrel Avatar Award is displaying the padlock icon still. I have the tshirt, that unlocked fine.
I have tried:
restarting my console
restarting the game
deleting and redownloading the game
winning more medals in single player have 140)
winning an online match
deleting the Xbox system cache

Squeaky The Squirrel appears in the avatar section when browsing my HDD contents. I tried deleting that file there too.
Any help is greatly appreciated. My gamer tag is: GTA Redwood

Hmmmm. I think you need 135 medals in Crash county for this to unlock. I may be wrong. But if you have that and it still hasnt unlocked, I'm not sure what to suggest that you havent tried. I know that message has popped up for people who have all the avatar awards, for no apparent reason. Which is why I suggest checking you have 135 medals in crash county.

Other than that, I'm afraid I really dont have any helpful suggestions. Sorry.

Perhaps recovering your gamertag could help? It all depends on how all this stuff works under the hood, but this sometimes brings back achievements that don't pop...a shot in the dark, but better than nothing....i hope.
