i was wondering if it was possible do animate an object going in a straight line and then mak it turn, i know i would use the state event to make it change direction but could it just activate it after a certain amount of time using the delayed impulse icon...

You can alter directions by using Variable data source and Set Value event, the desired OPE axis is connected to the Variable data source and the set value connected to the variable data source, then you could use a delay or trigger etc.Just change the settings of the set value to increase, decrease or.......and give it a certain value to give to the data source.
