Ive been wanting to get back into mp racing and get to level 50 but it takes forever with the progress bar increasing exponentially and all the XP losing out due to quitters. Figured this might be a nice touch, maybe get more people to play it for the time being. Double, triple or quadruple xp for a week or so would definitely be nice.
What do you guys think? Would this entice you to play multiplayer?
This.. I just hit 40 and I can't bare it anymore. Too boring for me, maybe if it were much more rewarding..Originally Posted by ChicagoAJ
I probably would, but little things like rewarding quitting needs fixing. On top of that MP needs more reward and structure...levelling up with no aim gets tedious.

leveling up is boring if u dont get rewarded properly for your efforts
i can see why this would be good for some people in terms that i could make trialers want to play it more.
I haven't touched MP since the day the DLC landed.
I think an interesting idea might be for a MP section that allows you to search for a quick match and then it loads random 5* (only) custom maps from track central.
I know private MP is setup to do that, but this is a little different.
The Multiplayer is great but it gets boring after a while indeed, the problem is that there isn't a lot of thing to do... It is not fun to play the same tracks over and over again. Maybe Redlynx could add some tournaments, or a new mode where the faults would count ? Zerofault's idea is great too, I don't think it is possible though.
As for the double XP, i don't see why not, I don't play MP anymore either, it would motivate me to give it another shot.
i think the Pure Trials picks would be a better idea for public multiplayer than 5* tracks.
either way, double xp or not, it doesnt interest me anymore. more frustrating things about trials multiplayer than rewarding things, at least in this game. i do think it could have gone a lot worse though.. and its a good base to build on with future trials games.
good idea... they could even set it up the same way -- easy/med in one section and hard/ext in anotherOriginally Posted by WILLYUMZ
there are at least 40-50 tracks in that category so it would almost double the available tracks
