    Re: VEGAS TRASH...new track:HOUDINI March 8th

Thanks. I understand the benefits of a fixed drive line, but if there isn't much movement in a track, I find them to get stale to make. Your last track effort had a bit of animation, but the driveline was static. The track felt alive though, which is the goal.
I think too often some top players are not good with physics obstacles because there is a slightly different skill set. You can have a high technical skill set, come across some basic physics, then melt after 10 tries and chalk it up to "bad" physics. Dynamic tracks are my favorite...elmonator, fruity gudness, skm, and so on.

Hey mate, this has been bugging me for a little bit so thought I'd just clarify. Hope my previous post didn't come across as disrespectful or negative. If it did I offer my apologies as it wasn't intended that way. I genuinely think your tracks are clever and appreciate the work that goes into making all that moving stuff work. I could have just worded it that way in the first place.

I agree with that and I think Im one of those that fall into that category, although id like to think because I recognise Im in that group I know better than to disregard the quality of obstacle. Speaking of which, dont think I will judge your CTC track harshly because its not static. My run might not be all that great but I played it for long enough to get the gist of it.

Your latest dump on TC wasnt as bad as you made it sound. Obviously didnt have your usual high production values but it was fun. Wouldve gone for a better run but if you take the first 2 sections too quickly you cant escape the fire

Throw me and the other non-physicsy people a bone every now and then

Sick run on Mean Green. Serious skills buddy.
I'm not worried about you rating the tracks fairly and if I even got 4th, I'd be impressed.
I like Houdini more than Light Run, but LR has better design.
Every time I go to make a static track, I get bored and want to watch something move.
Too bad you don't make tracks anymore. You've had some nice ones. They need to put some cob webs on that wrench. Haha

Fast paced fun track. Nice physics. Great work.

Some parts seemed a bit too unpredictable to me but the overall track was too much fun to not go for a good run
