I read that a lot of peeps get peeved off with this and i dont understand y?
In a way i do this myself as i use my LGC account for single player and my own builds & i use my Puerile account purely for Multiplayer.
I dont see the big deal in multi-accounts as in way the people that do this have got to spend longer going over ground/levels that they have completed allready?
It hurts their egos when their leaderboard rank is lower than what it would be without them.
I feel like it's generally more of a thing where if everybody would do it, then the leaderboards would be absolutely messed up. If a top rider is good at a certain track or just in general, they could make as many accounts as they want getting ranks 1 through 10 if they really wanted to (people have done it). So if I were 11th on that track, I would actually be 2nd in the world because only 1 person is ahead of me, even though it is 10 accounts for that same person.
In general, if it's just 1 to 3 accounts that are up top, I personally don't care and I don't think many others would either. But if EVERYONE multi-accounted and got multiple accounts as high as they could, then we would have no idea where our rightful rank would be. You could be ranked 100th but actually be number 20 on the track.
So, in a very small dose multi-accounting never really hurt anyone, but in large amounts it can get frustrating seeing the same name ahead of you 10 times knowing that it's the same person, and not really knowing where you stand.
Since Trials is all about leaderboards, I say that we have every right to try and stop multi-accounting. Yoshi refers to it being about people's egos, yes, he is right. None of us would ever play Trials (well, not nearly as much) if we didn't care about our leaderboard ranks and our "egos" that may go along with those ranks.
What Mike said. People with multi-accounts hog the top spots. It affects us top riders. (No offense Candy)
i also agree with Mike.

this is something i personally have never done, and never felt the need to do..i can see why people get upset with it though in all fairness to them..before i got my xbox, i read about multi accounting and how much gamers didnt approve, so this never appealed to me..i was a playstation gamer all the way, until i tried the xbox for the first time on gears of war 2..then i was converted...
Mulit-acounters fancy themselves.
