RAM is so cheap today, or at least DDR3 is, that it would be kinda odd to have less than 12GB of memory.
Btw, my "5%" was based on Steam users, not web users. I guess a lot of people use their old XP machines to read email and so on, but hardly anyone uses them for gaming.
I have XP too and I hope it will run on it.
Redlynx please, I want this game to run on XP too.
Greetings,
Well the motherboard I got supports 64Gb so that's what I'll be aiming to get, I would have it before Christmas if it wasn't for Christmas...Originally Posted by AnttiKior the fact that my flexible friend is all flexed out.
You would be surprised, and not everyone uses Steam. I'm not that much of a fan of it although I do have 2 accounts....Originally Posted by AnttiKi
Guys, please keep it on trackYou could make a []--[WOW OMG RAM IS SO SHEEP]-[] topic though. Maybe a RedLynx member can post here? ;3
The second reply is from a person as Redlynx as someone can be.![]()
Well Ive got 8, guess that makes me one of those odd folk! Granted my rig is a C2D e8500, 480gtx superclocked, with auzentech 7.1 x-fi...it runs everything i need just fine in 1080p on a 50" Pioneer Kuro...ill get more RAM when i build my next rig which will be when games start stepping up. Hope I don't need more than that to play Trials Gold!Originally Posted by AnttiKi
I have 2GB. What do i win?
EDIT: And for the record, add to that a C2D E7200 and a RadeonHD5670 1GB. I can run everything without a problem on the native resolution of my monitor which is 1280x1024. Yeah, 19".
You win a virtual thumbs up from me *thumbs up* Yeah I know, Im cheap lol
All you need is enough grunt to play at your displays native res, here's hoping theres a way for trials gold to be fine for your without too much (or any) compromise.
