    Severe Weather...

With all the news on TV lately about the extreme weather conditions affecting the caribbean & the east coast of the US, the flooding in Austraila & New zealand, along with the dire predictions made by such films as The Day
After Tomorrow, we shouldn't forget that England has its share of devastating weather too!

I've attached a photo illustrating the damage caused to a friend's home from a storm that passed through England last week. It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take things for granted.

    Re: Severe Weather...

what ive heard its due the earth heating up 1 degree, making the seasons shift a little so will get weird weather now.

another one ive heard which im not to convinced on, is that something about the planets lining up causing the sun to act weird, causing a solar flare (supposedly) eventually knocking out the whooole power grid sending us into a new ice age....

the 1st one seems more plausable

lol i love it ... but its all about the "end of the world/doomsday 2012" predictions.

The only thing thats gonna happen on the 21/12/12 is that the Mayan calender runs out, meaning (if they were still around) they`d have to start a new one, its no different from the calender in ure kitchen running out on the 31st dec .... u get a new one and start all over again

    Re: Severe Weather...

i had ice on my windscreen this morning. it was horrendous.

it added about 5 minutes to my journey and i couldn't hold a pen effectively enough to write with when i got to work as my hands were still extremely cold. they're alright now, thank god. though i suppose thanking god is the last thing i should do, been as these things are acts of god.

so, yeah, don't even talk to me about superstorms.

i dont get it, all i see is a picture of a chair on its side. a gust of wind can put those flimsy things on its side.

    This is hardly relatable lol
