I enjoyed the first 3, I thought CoD4 was exceptional, and though the rest have changed arguably very little.. they are still highly polished, rewarding and addictive games - its not just some business trick they pull that keeps hundreds of thousands of people playing the game year in year out, people enjoy it.
I think they have changed enough this year anyway, the engine is superb and if it needed to be scrapped it would have been.
So you say all they want is for us to buy the game?Originally Posted by bDIdol

Anyway, your entire argument relies on one point: I was frustrated with the last CoD I played. And I wasn't, because after MW2 gave me the urge to vomit everytime I played it, I didn't pick up MW3. And with regards to your list:
1 needs expanding. In what way is it crap?
2 is irrelevant, are you saying a game needs to have good graphics to be good? The engine wasn't the reason MW2 and 3 sucked, it was contradictory and frustrating game design.
3. How do you even know if they're overpowered? The guns in Black Ops were more or less balanced just fine...
4. Well you must have hated CoD 3, WaW and BO then...That's fine, but I thought they were all great games. It's MW2 and 3 I couldn't stand, which Treyarch had nothing to do with.
5. How is that relevant?
Everything you said here is BS. The engine doesn't need to be changed, treyarch brings way more innovation than infinity ward so it's not the same game, you don't know if there are overpowered weapons because you haven't played the game.Originally Posted by bDIdol
The only one of his points that I will argue is the one about the engine. A single tweak can dramatically improve an existing engine, and from what I understand, a lot of work has been put into the BlOps2 engine.
Why start from scratch when you can expand on a well known, and understood, game engine? All that would do is extend development time for a possible boost in graphics if it didn't cause far more issues by being an untested engine.
the communication of MW and BO is always the same one we are the best and never you did not play has a play like that there! … it is of the policy: promises, powder with the eyes and never of real innovations, the only interest (for me) it is the zombie mode which I adore, alas it is a little short
then if the engine of play were not re-examined… early or late it will be caught a slap Voir PES and FIFA which with taken its market share… and there one would say that Battlefield advances much more quickly
I think that one has to expect has great changes but for BO3… because competition advances more quickl
Although people prefer TreyArch for bringing new things to the table each game, people forget that Cod 4 like WILLYUMZ said was exceptional because that was the first of the Cods to bring cometitive mulitplayer and "create a class", prestige, camo, attatments etc. If it weren't for Infinity War we may not have had these other great Cods like WaW, BO etc. The one thing im going to deeply miss from both Cod 4 and WaW is the end game victory music, it was so cool escpecially from WaW like the Japanese victory music and Cod 4's Marine music, cccoooll, in addition the other cool sounds along with it.
I want to get the game because of the new true skill ranking system. I got a 3.8 KD on MW3 so I think I'll be able to get up there pretty easy.
Im at the Best Buy midnight release and f**k... the line is long as hell. 50 people in front of me right now. Anybody else stuck in a long line too? lol
