With the newest installment of Halo releasing in less than a week I figured I'd get some opinions on what you may or may not be looking forward to with this game. When the game comes out we could also use this a way of finding fellow Trials players to party up with!
I'll start with the obvious. I'm stoked they are bringing back the BR! I haven't watched many videos of it though because for once I want a game to be a surprise. I usually end up watching so many videos before a game comes out (Trials) that I already know most of the game.
I was a little disappointed they didn't axe the jet packs. I absolutely hated them in Reach. They were the main reason I stopped playing that game.
Let me know what you guys think!
343 Industries seem intent on adding something new (to the Halo franchise) but perhaps some of these things we've seen and already heard of before, the story looks interesting and the new additions to the game will keep me even more interested (hopefully).
The game looks even better and the sounds are very cool i hope theres something new worth playing for.
10 weeks of additional content. Interacting campaign, coop and mp. These sound like they could either be disastorous or amazing. I'm leaning towards amazing and will probably get the game based purely on that and the fact I have mates getting it who I know I'll have fun playing with.

I have mixed feelings about it...Mostly good but still...
On one hand, they fixed a ton of areas which Reach just messed up horribly on (Don't get me started on that game, its gameplay formula as a whole was just a contradictory mess). The movement speed is faster, the jump height is higher, we aren't playing as those god-awful spartan III's, strafe acceleration has increased, the vehicles aren't made of ******* paper anymore, fire based weapons are back, sprint is now owned by everyone'd prefer it scrapped, but it's an improvement), the DMR's bloom has been significantly cut back, the AAs have been rebalanced (This was horribly done in Reach) the new ones actually look fun to use and armorlock has been removed what's more is that they don't make weapons reduntant or dominate the game, the campaign looks amazing, you can finally play as the flood in infection...Did I also mention fire based weapons are back?
On the other hand, the game completely lacks a ranking system, CTF has basically been turned into the CoD equivilentusually hate comparing this game to CoD, because generally it's nothing like it, but it seems to fit here), and I was hoping for a bigger improvement when it comes to forge, or at least new pieces; At least 90% of the forge pieces in this game are just copy-paste-reskins from Reach. Still, as long as they fixed the bugs in Reach's forge, I can't complain, and at least I know that even if the matchmaking sucks ***, I'll always have customs to fall back on...At least, I assume so. We haven't heard a whole lot about them yet.

There have been 1 or 2 videos encompasing editor and it seems like they added a few tools to make the game have a bit more variety, i will certainly be getting it and if anyone wants to play just Invite or FR i'll be there unless your playing a campaign further than mine. From some vids it looks very good. I agree with what your saying about NO ranking system, CRAZY.Originally Posted by James24993
Im going to have alot of fun with the infection game type.
I never liked jetpacks in Reach, and I doubt I will in Halo 4. But they've at least reduced the thrust on them, and they don't last as long, but that doesn't change the fact that they have the power to completely break map design.Originally Posted by vladiiiiiiii
