So I went to my parents house this weekend where I have internet to download trials evolutions's 1st dlc. Was very excited and amazed when I tried out some of the new tracks and the Gecko. Got back to my place to show my friend (no internet connection), but there was nothing to show him. No dlc tracks, bike or gear. Although I still had my newly dlc bought helmet on, it only said "offline dlc?" with no icon.
If anyone's got a sollution, please help! Searched it on google but doesn't look like anyone else has had this problem so far.
Oh and I'm from South Africa but I'm sure that won't really make a difference. Since I already played it. I remember the first time I tried it out, with the startup it said "looking for dlc cotent", maby for some weird and odd reason it has to be connected to the internet to look for the dlc even though It's downloaded on my console??
This post really needs to get bumped because I wanna know the awnser, come on redlynx
@Snipen, are you experiencing the same problem? I've googled it but can't seem to find an answer. And it's really frustrating, tried everything again yesterday but no luck.
Hi, I have the same problem, downloaded the DLC and the new content doesn't show up in the game![]()
No not at all, but I just wanna know incase one day I don't have internet
i have same problem, i took my xbox to a friends to show him trials and i cannot play it offline it just said please unlock full game all i could do was use the editor.
Any info on this devs would be much appreciated as i'd hate to think that if i should loose internet for some time for some reason that i wont be able to play trials![]()
Hmmm. I suspect that it may run a check to see if you have the game unlocked when its first loaded and that that requires an internet/xbl connection. If the net/xbl goes down while playing, its fine. But I've not tried loading it up AFTER the connection is down. So that could explain it. But I'm just theorising, I'm gonna go ahead and assume that you hope I'm wrong!Originally Posted by smeghead89![]()
Are you playing it on the same Xbox that it was initially purchased on? If not, then you will require a connection to XBL to play a non-trials version of the game (this is a MS thing).
You can try to migrate your licenses, but this will require an internet connection.
The first time the game worked even when offline but not the dlc. But then I recently upgraded to a XBOX slim and managed to connect the concole to xbl. I then was required to do 2 things to get it to work. 1st, Licence Transfer. Second, re-download games (for game licences). The downloads was only cache downloads even though it's listed under "redownload game". Fixed now atleast and enjoying every bit of the new dlc. FINALLY!
