    NFL in the UK?

I'm just curious what you folks across the pond think of the game. The NFL's trying to conquer the world. Do you hate it? Like it? Maybe even love it, perhaps more than soccer?

You may have guessed, I like it(surprise surprise). It's because of games like this, we watch the sport.

Love it, hate the way MNF is currently televised over here though. Fortunately SNF is better now anyway and that is covered very well! We also get two live Sunday games shown on Sky sports, so its better over the last few years than it ever has been before. PLus Wembley games as well.

NFL is trying to go global? I dont see that working. All the other countries will never consider a game where you throw a ball and call it football a real sport.

I enjoy (american) football more than any other sport, but its simply because I am more familiar with it and its players compared to any other sport. I used to really be into it, I lost a lot of interest when the Joe Montana/Jerry Rice era ended.

You must be forgetting when NFL europe was around and used as a "second chance" for fringe NFL players. Many players now in the NFL proved their worth in NFL Europe. The UK and Germany in particular have quite large NFL fanbases.

The only time I care about sports is during the Olympics.
I actually remember and care about the stats of roller coasters in the same way that most guys would remember and care about the stats of sports teams. I guess that part of my brain just got switched into manual override mode.

I get depressed when NFL season is over...

this is a good year for my Houston Texans!

Did you all enjoy the Pats blasting the Rams yesterday? Gronkowski scored 2 TDs for my fantasy team!
