New track: Stone Cold UPDATE *please read* | Forums

Hello again! I've created a new extreme track named stone cold.
It is a winter themed track which requires you to over come large stones, cliffside and even frozen over lakes (which contains the dreaded lake monster if you wait a little at the end). Try it out since it is one of my most scenic tracks to date. Enjoy

EDIT: I have realised the name 'Stone Cold' is already in use so I have changed the name of the track to Freeze Thaw. Additional changes include the tweaking of certain areas because they were too difficult; this change also allows the opportunity to receive platinum (YAY)

Oops, didn't realise there was already a track called stone cold if it becomes popular I'll change it if not and it isn't going anywhere I'll leave it.

No idea, but at the time I shared the track redlynx picks was acting up removing all the tracks that was previously there. I just didn't see it

thats a very good name for a track lol I created the 1st stone cold and yours sounds very similar with frozen lakes and stuff so sounds good to me i'll check it out, feel free to check mine out if ya like

I already have, I like yours better because it is medium and the fact that you have artic animals involved. It deserves to be in redlynx picks. My one however is an extreme with slight differences, if you want me to rename the track and re upload I will but when 2 days have gone I doubt it will be strong competition to yours

i'll be completely honest mate, i loved the track right up until the very steep part. Im sure i could 0 fault the track but that checkpoint took over 30 faults from me and was not happy about it i nearly rage quit lol. this check point is far to hard compared to the rest of the track and feels inconsistent for my liking. Other than that the rest is a very fun ride altho i did notice the need for some custom collisions particularly on 1 rock where your wheel goes through it, a custom collision on the rocks surface will fix this.

I'm glad you told me that, it's funny too because the version you played is the second upload, the first upload the very obstacle you are talking about was even higher. LOL. No worries, I'm going to re upload it another time anyway to change the name, the medal times, make that certain area easier and I may even extend the track

keep me posted m8 i'd like to play your improved version cos i do feel this track has good potential.
1 other thing try to be careful with your no go areas, there are a few parts of the track where your back tire for instance can set of the fail trigger and kill you while you are still in a safe position to carry on, just lower them slightly so that you have to actually fall fully into the hole before you die (lots of people like to try and recover when they are hanging over an edge).
