basically i can't get the dlc looping sounds to stop restarting at checkpoint restarts.. can some1 tut this please? thx in advance.
I'm pretty sure there isn't a way to make them continue. There's no way to tell the sound what point to start playing so it always restarts.
but there's a few tracks that have the looping so it don't restart :/ I.e painted by loot monkey
Most of the new sounds (full length ones, not sound effects) are included as sound tiles that you can add to points in the track like any other sounds AND they are in the track settings, music playlist. The playlist ones play throughout the game play but if you add them as a sound tile, they will restart at checkpoint restarts.
So if you want it to continue playing, uninterrupted, add it to the playlist in track settings.![]()

It lets you resume an audio clip at a checkpoint, (fading in after after a slight delay), so you can play a song during a short section of track (ex. passing through a building that has music playing inside.)
Warning: It's pretty involved, and not as optimized as it could be, but it works pretty well for me.
