How long till the next DLC?

Approximately how long are we going to wait?

I didn't / haven't played THD, so how long was it between DLC releases on that?

Re: How long till the next DLC?

    From Wikipedia:
Trials HD was announced June 1, 2009 at a Microsoft luncheon during E3 2009. It was released August 12, 2009 as part of the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade. On December 23, 2009 the first downloadable content, known as the Trials HD Big Pack, was released. The content features twenty three new courses, new objects for the game's built-in level creator and new achievements. A second downloadable content pack was announced for the game in July 2010. The Trials HD Big Thrills Pack features forty new courses made by RedLynx, but unlike the Trials HD Big Pack it also features ten user created courses. These ten courses are to be decided from entries to the Big Thrills Track Creation Competition. The top three contestants were awarded prizes of $5,000, $3,000, and $1,000, respectively. Winners were announced on November 15, 2010. The Big Thrills Pack was released December 1, 2010.
So, just over 11 months if it follows in HD's footsteps.

Yeah. You can confirm it on the xbox dashboard, search for trials hd and the DLCs are a year apart. Just noticed it the other day when I installed to another device. I dont know though.. If redlynx stops with releasing their content for free we could have several DLCs for evolution. I see new tracks and games all the time.. Not to mention player content, could have a redlynx picks list with Official leaderboards and times in a DLC. Honestly dont care if content comes out fast.. So long as the team addresses problems that come into play we could have constant stable content. If money is an issue jack up prices. I would gladly invest if I knew updates were what came from my money.. maybe its not that simple but its an idea. One DLC a year versuses a mixture of content? I would choose the mixture. I can appreciate the effort to make it less costly for us but if you cant release more content or atleast updates to back the current content I feel like Im at a loss. Ill still play but I see more potential. Love the game, just want a little more of it.

I really hope the next DLC doesn't come out 11 months after OOP..
I hope they will release the new DLC sometime next year, maybe April?
I don't even know how many DLC they are planning on releasing anyway..

Thankfully there's TC to keep me interested in the game otherwise I would be craving new DLC every month.

Same here. But unfortunately, we seem to be in the minority. Only about 10% of the people with a time on the first track (crash county) have a time on Carnival of rust. So lets hope more dlc is financially viable or we might not see much of it.

Although, it does show that having the sponsorship/advertising/whatever, may have been a prudent move in ensuring that money wasnt lost on the dlc. So if the same method can be used to ensure future dlc I could certainly put up with that!

But who knows, I'm just speculating. All I know for sure is that I would like to se emore dlc for the game at some point!

You know what would be great. Editor Theme Packs.
New piece packs with multiple pieces in varieties based on a particular theme or style. No new tracks or editor worlds, just pieces. A few hundred or so per pack. Say, every couple of months. Charge what you like, I would buy them. You can never have enough in my opinion.

Origin of Paine included tonnes of circus objects which arn't being used as much because they are "Circus" objects. If they released "Theme object packs" the same could happen unless theres variety in the sizes because the one thing i want is smaller objects for once.
