Hey guys,
Got a question. At the end of my track, I have a custom camera set up right before the finish line pointing straight ahead to show the rider disappear as he falls into a deep pit. When I first drive by the custom camera it works fine, but when the character is falling about halfway down the pit the game camera comes back or something and zooms in on the biker. No idea what to do, I've tried different things like increasing the custom camera's range but it's not fixing the problem, I just want the camera to stay where it is and keep focusing straight ahead.Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!
It will be set to interpolate..all you need to do, is go in cameras properties n set your camera to cut only..its about half way down..theres interpolate - cut - cut n interpolate...
You just want to cut it...
Actually that was one of the first things I didlol
Are you using the set camera event? Have you tried that?
it is because the rider is going out of frame/out of the cameras range. Set to interpolate and place more than one down covering the whole area after the finish line. Alternatively go into camera settings and have it target the rider, then have it activate once the rider has crossed the finish line.
Ok sweet I'll try that out. Thanks for the help guys!Originally Posted by apdenton1
Trigger a camera event using the finish line or an area trigger that goes to the camera. It will then stay as the designated camera no matter how far away you are.
