can you make particle effects move? ie clouds, tornado etc | Forums

Hi. Im currently remixing a track for gecko purposes and its become a complete redesign. Its a desert setting and im wondering if anyone has a way of making clouds move to appear like a sandstorm...and also the tornado effect too. Ive asked this before months ago when evo was fairly new and it didnt seem possible i just wondered if the new tools made any difference (mainly after seeing the recon track)

Any help would be great, although my understanding of anything other than plonk object here and ride it is very limited so go easy on me

With the new tools dude,you wont need to make it move..just use the dust,and change ur particle settings to the colour your trying to create..them dust storm or wot ever they are called,do all thatfor you...

It's certainly possible, BarryBarfly did a sandstorm track I'm sure he would help you.

That sounds well easy. Where are the 'DUST STORM" effects found? Im hoping.to make it look like sand clouds rather than the sandstorm barry used...is that possible with these new tools?

Should be in Effects category. Just look for the plus sign.

M, if u do want one to move, you can move any effect you want with an ope, u can make one follow rider, back and forth up down, etc pretty easy. Ill help should u need, I'm sure u know ope well enuf.
