It's also one of the best XBLA games I've played this year.

It is fun, and I paid 400MSPs for some token things, only because I would have happily paid 400 for the game itself.

I downloaded it yesterday, but haven't tried it yet. I'll give it a go tonight.
Is everything in the game attainable through progression, or will I have to pay eventually?

You can gain the strongest items in the game just by getting high level item boxes but it takes awhile.Originally Posted by Ikes

Yeah the matchmaking needs sorting out. I get disconnected from 4 out of 5 parties that I get paired up with before it searches for opposition.
Might be my connection cause I can't join Yoshi.....

Pretty fun game, when I can actually get in one. There's a message on the menu screen saying they're aware of the online issues. So hopefully it gets sorted soon.
