No.....I wasn't really expecting that they were going to, to be honest. I happened to have some pretty serious evidence that some tracks may not even be able to be run in the same way depending on the device and I thought they should see it.

My hunch....is that they are seeing some pretty serious flaws between the different devices by now...and unbeknownst to us, they are working on a solution. At least I would hope so.

Re: Different physics on different devices/OS?

This thread had moments where it seemed it was the iPhone 5 that was having advantages over the iPad users. Well I can say as a player that owns both, I would have stood behind that 100% when I first got my iPhone 5 and played those tracks people were talking about. Now I've found that depending on the track it can go either way for sure.

In my opinion, RECENTLY its been the iPad players that have had a bit of the advantage. At least when I've played the tracks with both. So I expect that to swing back and forth depending on the track.

There's no question that the two devices rarely play exactly the same, but who knows...where I see an advantage on one device, other players may see it as a disadvantage and prefer the other. So on the issue of fairness....I think the pendulum swings both ways and randomly.

Personally my own gripes are just that a replay on one device, is glitched on the other....and that buying diamonds for one device, cannot be used in the same game, on the same account, just on a different device.

I play on my 4S phone and a 5, and an iPad2. I don't think there's really an advantage for the 5, it depends on the track. I find I can get decent times one both, all be it one device is harder than the other depending on the track. I agree that not seeing the replay, for me, is the biggest annoyance. I do wish it was optimized for the 5 though.

Ipad mini is the same as the ipads and pre iphone 5's. The questions is does the ipad 4 play like the iphone 5? Im pretty certain its the A6 chip causing the issue..... its just toooooo fast

Re: Different physics on different devices/OS?

I always felt that on my iPhone 4, the resistance of the ground (particularly snow and grass) was less on than it was on my iPad 2. I was always able to run faster on my phone in the snow levels than on my iPad. That didn't always translate into a faster time though.

Now on the iPhone 5....it seems as though the acceleration is better as well, than it is on the iPad. (the best example is the level that didn't even require a jump on the iPhone 5). The resistance is still less than it is on the iPads (So much so now that I've seen ice chunks slide down slopes without being touched, but not on the iPad)

Finallly...the jump is now different on the iPhone than it is on the iPad. A tap of the jump button on the iPad vs a tap of the jump button on the iPhone 5 results in a different height. Its much much harder to do a tiny little jump on the iPad than it is on the iPhone 5.

The way I'm describing it sounds massive I'm sure....but if you play this game enough, even the slightest differences are noticeable.

This proves how deep the engine/gameplay really is despite it being a small game.
