Is there a way to tie a data source/value object to the color picker to get a smooth color transition? I noticed a pick value object option in the color wheel but when I tie it to a data source the object linked to the color event goes black. Any ideas?

Attach the color to a vector curved data source. Choose two vectors as the start and end. The x-value of the vector is the "amount" of red, which ranges from 0-255. Y-value determines the amount of green, z-value determines the amount of blue.
