I'm creating a track, and I had the line all set, and it ran fine. I then added some items at the end of the track (about 100 metres after the corner in question) and now whenever I test the track the biker goes over his handlebars on that corner. If I take the corner slowly I can see the wheels fold under the bike, like they do when you roll around a corner backwards, and it slows the biker down, meaning he now can't make the jump after the corner that he had no problems with before.
I haven't changed the angle of the corner, or anything beforehand, so he's still hitting the corner at the same speed.
Has anybody else found this? I have the line all set, and I really don't want to change any of it as it was working fine, and changing it will distrupt a lot of track that follows.
Any thoughts?
Seems like once in a while the ground grabs the bike funny, IMO, you could try laying some rock or custom collision on the ground there and see if the bike reacts different, shouldn't change yer line much. Gl.Originally Posted by Ojotango

I'll give it a go, replacing the ground with something else. What I forgot to mention is that it's on top of a roof (warehouse building). I took away the roof and added one seperate to the rest of the building with no luck, but I'll give it a go with a rock or something and see what happens!
I can't really tear the building down, but I'll try messing with invisibility and custom collisions, as you say!
Ta!
I'm assuming also that you have used the curve adjustment on it right? If not u can grab the spline point and I believe the bumpers will stretch the curve into various shape curves, maybe u currently have it set to sharp. Just thoughts...Originally Posted by Ojotango![]()
It would be advisable to put custom collisions on most objects on your track and where the sides of objects meet so example: place an object (tire), then place a second next to it, the 1st object could be a fraction higher than the other possibly causing your rider to flip over.
Yeah, it was definitely a smooth curve, as I tested it many times before it started tripping me up, and it ran fine.Originally Posted by NasT65
I'll keep that in mind, thanks! Unfortunately it was happening in the middle of a roof section with no other objects on the driving line...Originally Posted by LitTlExJeZuZ

Thanks for your thoughts guys!
Okay, well after having a play about with it I determined it was nothing to do with the corner - I took away an item elsewhere in the track, and it started doing it in the middle of a straight as well.
I have no idea what's going on - it can't be a complexity issue as I've only just filled the bar halfway, and I don't think it's because I have too many physics objects, because, although I get that message (still got to select 'decoration only' on a lot of stuff) on Giga Island I never had the problem despite getting that message all over the place.
In the end I solved it by sticking a ramp down and having the rider in the air at the dodgy point. It means he's in the air around a corner - which I don't like doing - but I'll stick an air vent near by so it looks like he's getting blown around the corner.
There's always a way 'round these things! It's just weird that I never got to the bottom of it!
Thanks for your suggestions, guys! The track should be live tonight if you fancy a go!![]()
